They dont even bother to see it from the perspective of the person who committed bru, only how horrid it must’ve been for the one who stumbled upon the body

This book its depiction of warfare & the cruelty that comes with it makes me feel sick even more than all quiet on the western front has and i think that says enough as to how effective it is

I dont know how to properly word it but this book is so bland to read, i really wanted to like it because its in one of my favorite historical eras. But ohhhh its a drag to get through. It reads so monotonous and the story still hasnt really picked up this far in
