Is it wrong to be upset over how much I actually very much enjoy this book. Like the rate at which I'm blowing through this book is unmatched compared to the past couple months, I'm baffled. The yearning is yearning (but make it a secret), the irking is irking and I can feel the war a warring......I'm here for it

Ok this book is starting to bother me, I hope it’s just because it’s my second fantasy in a row and kind of more strategy-ish??……but I need a little less pissing contest, a lot less whoa is me, and more action (of all shapes and sizes)

I will be contacting my therapist about this book. I feel violated mentally and emotionally. Stuck between finishing and tearing the bandaid off and just taking a step back. The writing is grotesquely detailed, which is doing wonders for the horror ambiance, but doing a number on my mental.

I have never been unsettled like I have been with this book this far. I thought Lord of the Flies was tough back in the day……so very wrong oh my god. This is brutal and crass and…….cruel? Horror indeed

Because I hate myself, I’m saving the last 9 chapters for tomorrow. My adrenaline is shot and my eyeballs burn but DAMN is this good
