i know this is a dark romantic “comedy” but everything about this book is so unserious 😐 and i mean in that in a cringey way not in a haha funny way. all of the characters feel like goofy ass cartoon villains and not actual people.

finch wasn’t quirky or eccentric he just had severe brain damage that is mentioned but never truly acknowledged, but i can guarantee you it was the root of all of his problems…😐
