I was so ready to be a convert and love Lena Dunham after this book… I had much sympathy for the medical trauma and chronic illness she has suffered while reading but when I got to the chapter where she accidentally lit herself on fire I was out. Get your shit together girl 😭 but who am I to judge someone’s life…

The first chapter may possibly be the best first chapter of any book I’ve read. So good already

Heathcliff and Catherine are insufferable, awful people. I don’t think I’ve read a book where I hate the main characters so much haha
