I told David I’m reading this book and he said “oh yeah, I stopped reading that one about halfway because I got the gist”

I’m in disbelief! This guy is a maniac!!!!

I forgot how little Dorian there is in this book and I am not having it

So far every other story has me questioning whether I love it or hate so naturally I am obsessed. Perfect blend of surrealism, horror, and science-fiction

I've been putting off re-reading this cause the first reading experience meant so much to me, but after 8 years I am finally ready to return to Erilea (Dorian hold me).

it took me a while to get into this but now i am so unbelievably in. i've already gotten embarrassingly emotional twice because the setting is all consuming. rebranding myself as a ho for second chance romance bc i am unwelllll

not to go all swifty, but it's currently giving "dress" and my heart is fit to burst

Next up, we have a book I devoured 70% of in the first 24 hours and then inexplicably didn't pick up for -- checks calendar -- 5 months???

The reading slump was real.

Anyway, looking forward to thinking "wait who is that again?" every other page.

Great news, I have decided I am a Reader again and I am prepared to be annoying about it!!! Starting with this book I first picked up over two months ago. currently crying, laughing, throwing up, etc

I’m loving this. I especially love/hate that it’s living up to the hype. My favorite part is that every other scene makes me think of Mythic Quest which I will definitely be rewatching as soon as I’m done lol

i can’t wait to regret starting this at 11:30 pm on a wednesday

now that i am halfway, it is time i accept that this is not a book about a vampire and that i have no idea where i got that idea. the brain! a wonder!

also the writing is incredible and i already don’t want this book to end.

jfc this protagonist is insufferable. he is incredibly pedantic and so obnoxious about Knowing Science. it honestly makes me scared to re-read the martian (a book i consider a favorite!). anyway, this is officially a hate read!
