Halfway through and I’m fully invested but also deeply confused. This book keeps casually suggesting the killer might be a vampire and I genuinely cannot tell if that’s a joke or if I’m supposed to take it seriously. I love vampires, but not in my realistic murder mystery??

114 pages in and this book has me SIDE EYEING EVERYTHING. The timeline is already not what it seems, the “first” murder definitely wasn’t the first, and every new detail just makes things darker and more unsettling. I have so many questions, zero answers, and an uncomfortable feeling that nothing is accidental. Fully hooked and mildly stressed. 🩸👀📖
