I'm listening to this as an audiobook read by Neil Gaiman himself. His narration is just perfect and I'm finding the story enchanting. I'm on Chapter 8 and am delighted to have so much of the book still in front of me, though not enough.

I'm around 70% through this book. I've stuck with it because there were so many good reviews but it's like wading through treacle and my determination is wavering.

I've re e tly been reading several books that I'd not necessarily choose myself and which have been lent or given to me. This is one and from an author I've not previously been drawn to. You don't know if you don't try.

A much more promising start than the last few books I've read. Straight into the narrative with well crafted prose which is a pleasure to read.

Easy middle of the night reading for insomniacs. In with a chance of lulling me back to sleep.
