The way the author emphasises anything is by using the word “freaking”. Multiple times. Genuinely terrible. It was an easy read, but the writing was god-awful. Also, the characters have no depth to them, the world-building is simple, it’s just a very simple book. Definitely recommend if you want an easy read, but if you want a great story with great writing, don’t bother.
