Actually quite riveting so far. Actually don’t know where the story’s going👍🏼

I must say, I am loving this book. Tears have welled, and I suspect they will fall before the book ends.

“I’m gonna spend the rest of my life trying to wash off the stink that comes with being your kid” was a line that hit hard.

Not at all what I was expecting (thus far), but it’s really good. Just feels like a slightly mysterious drama at the moment, rather than a horror novel. But then again, what is a horror novel, really? Mr. King is very thorough in his writing, I will say.

I've been excited to read this book and to really dive into Stephen King. So far so good. Not spooked yet, but I'm only just beginning. A lot of character establishing that I'm excited to see unfold as the book progresses.

This is my first horror book and I was really excited to be scared. So far, the story and the book in general have been fantastic, but I’ve yet to feel spooked while reading. Again, it’s my first horror book, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I intend on reading more during spooky season, so let’s see where YWMTBH ranks after.

I love this book. So far, anyway. There was a sentence that went, “We’re not allowed to die for our children, the universe won’t let us, because then there wouldn’t be any mothers left”, and it hit so hard and I’m not even a parent. Mr. Backman🫶🏼🫶🏼
