getting more of the backstory of the main character just makes me like her even less.

okay well it’s getting better, but Fern still irritates me. a very small thing i was curious about has come to light, but still i’m not sure everything is exactly as it seems

it’s not quite as great as i hyped myself up for it to be, though i am still enjoying it

I am not liking the main character at all so far 😭

Absolute banger, the writing is perfection, and each chapter is the PERFECT length to be able to read during work breaks without having to stop in the middle or anything!

Stopping at the end of Chapter 15 to return this to the library and just go ahead and buy it instead because it’s that good.

i knew this was going to be a feminist book before starting which i was wanting, but idk how to describe it other than overtly feminist. only on the 2nd page and already on the 5th mention of how women are treated “less than” and need to be controlled.
