Section IV - A truly frightening section. Murray describes the threats humanity faces below us; earthquakes, volcanoes and even geysers! The desponding thing is that humans cannot, predict these phenomena let alone prevent the from occurring. Section IV really kicked home the fragility of one's existence. One quote did allay some anxiety "pg 289".
