It’s like a cozy fantasy/historical romance with Mary Poppins as the FMC, packed full of puns and wit and romp.

Kicking my feet and giggling at the witty Victorian propriety of it all. Rival ornithologists Devon and Beth are most definitely, absolutely positively NOT falling in love, and I’m sure the inn they just checked into certainly has enough beds for them both 😏

It feels so good to be immersed in the world of Kathryn Stockett’s writing and characters again. She has such a distinct storytelling voice.

At about the 48% mark, this book became like watching a friend make very bad decisions over and over again and it’s not even entertaining, just cringey 😬 how is someone who is mentally/emotionally 32 still acting like this?

I’m having a real hard time getting on board with this magical realism plot.

Ain’t no man worth going through your 20’s again for. Be serious.

This is a very hyped up new release romance this summer and I’m enjoying it so far! It feels a little like 13 Going on 30 but in reverse so just know that’s the vibe going into it. It’s a 30 year old going back in time to when she was in college to undo some of her mistakes. Very cute so far!

This book wasn’t even on my radar until I listened to an audiobook sample of it and got hooked. Really enjoying it so far!

Really been enjoying this one and it sparked my interest in starting the TV show Insecure so I’ve been binging that this week too, very funny and relatable.

Loving this one so far! Tia Williams’ writing feels like you’re talking to a friend over drinks. The chemistry between Shane and Eva is SCORCHING and they’ve barely had a scene together. Also we’re all obviously picturing LaKeith Stanfield as Shane right?

THE HYPE IS REAL. However this *is* satire through the lens of a *very* unlikable main character. So far, I’m inhaling this book and tabbing SO many quotes. The writing is sharp, and the commentary on womanhood and motherhood is especially striking and interesting, but if an unlikable MC is a dealbreaker for you this might just not be the book for you.

**I’ve listened up until the “A Year in the Life” Gilmore Girls chapter. Will finish once I watch that!**

This is so cute! It’s short with a few fun tidbits about the making of Gilmore Girls (though nothing super huge). I thought it was interesting that even the actress who played Lorelai thought the ball was dropped on the seventh season.

I am unwell 😭 BELIEVE THE HYPE. I can already tell I will be rereading this.
