The second part of this book is a lot less good, cohesive and planned in comparison to the first but I'm still having a pretty good time. Hopefully it picks up again at the end.

This book does every fairytale inspired romance fantasy trope better than every other romance fantasy novel... I have a lot of good things to say about Uprooted so far!

Also you know what's funny...? Every language completely changed the title of this book something ive never really seen before. In Romanian it's "The chosen of the dragon", in spanish it's "A dark tale", in portuguese it's "A dark heart"... like what is going on

I started listening to this on the audiobook and even though its not my preferred way to get through this book I am liking it a lot. It looks like a lot of modern romantasies that I have read take after it, so that's interesting.

I really am not enjoying this

I was so excited to jump back into this series after 2 years, and true to that I have enjoyed the book so far, but now I'm really starting to have doubts. This review, I think, is going to be lots of mixed feelings
