The Death of Ivan Ilych gets more funny and profound with every reading.

Three Deaths was a gorgeous story.

Getting more background on Marius.

I enjoyed Notes more than The Double but the Double has its merits. You feel like you’re going crazy as the story progresses. Notes is deeply philosophical. I need to read more analysis to get more out of it. Something I am looking forward to doing!

Things were slow to start in “The Double” but it’s a real page turner now.

I finished Notes. Gonna need to read some analysis but I enjoyed it.

Meant to say “right headspace” in the previous update.

Finally in the other headspace for this. It is excellent.

Lots of hormones and rat studies almost half way in. Enjoying the ride.

Phew. Made it past the chapter with all the genital surgery diagrams. This book is THOROUGH and detailed.

Man this book gets bogged down with side tracks. It’s frustrating.

500 pages in. Started the volume “Marius”. Excited to meet him but first you meet Gavroche!
