I’m about halfway through the book and I’m enraged by Colin’s audacity. If a man is going to have anything, it’s the audacity to stick their noses where it doesn’t belong! I’m secondly annoyed by Penelope for not standing up to him, crush or not, because he really had no business in her business. Colin is also rude and I don’t like romance hidden behind rudeness.

I watched the TV series first. It’s nice to see the small differences between the series and the book.

I didn’t realize how pathetic (truly) Connell is in the beginning in the show because Paul Mescal is charming. The book really expands on how horrible he was to Marianne.
