What separates a narcissistic person from someone who is self-centered or vain or entitled is the consistency and sheer number of traits in one person. Just being superficial doesn’t mean someone is narcissistic. A selfish person will choose the restaurant they want, but a narcissistic person will choose the restaurant they want and AND tell you they had to do that because you are too dumb about food to choose one.
