Okay, the dynamic that's currently going on between Serena and Koen is really confusing me.

DNF'ing.

This reads like it was written in a bad trip induced haze. The storyline is bouncing all over the place, the MMC is infuriatingly stubborn and not in the grumpy/sunshine trope way, and the FMC feels flat. I'm having a hard time believing this actually goes anywhere that makes whatever is happening in the first 20% worth slogging through.
