If you want a book that plays powerfully with your emotions....!

Interesting read, the first third was frankly slooow and I was about to give up. Then it got better. Now it's hard to put down 😀

In part I don't want this to end and in part I can't put it down!!

I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed Dinios in the previous book as well as the general setting 😀

I'd stick my neck out and say that's 30 minutes of some of Herron's best dialogue to me. First Lamb to Diana and then Lamb and Catherine.

Parts are exceptionally good - others maybe less so

Some parts of the writing here are just so good

I really like the idea of a book missing (and never published) from the OBs collection...

A while since I read the last book and simply the part "introducing" the building is so good 😀 - it's something you miss in the TV series. Not a fan of the narrator so far.

Entertaining however so far I probably prefer the Greatcoats series. Good narrator

Fascinating read so far. I didn't realise how interesting wolves are nor about the interactions between humans and wolves.

The interaction between Ree and Jivani lifts this well past a quite light action read - really rather enjoying it 😀
