Coates connects his own feelings and history to a problem thats been happening for decades across the world. Using his own history arguing for reparations and his connection to the African homeland he draws comparisons to the Jewish state. Not only does he use the example of America erasing its pass but directly connects that with Israels current actions. Overall this is a hard book to read but deeply insightful.
