I don’t want this to be done so I have really been delaying the inevitable 😭

I’m still stressed out. What an absolute mess that I’m going to need to be untangled please.

Hey so I’ve been stressed out every single chapter and this build up of eventual doom is ruining me. But I must keep going!

Also chapter 12s ending line? Excuse me, no. Put that back.

The past 20% has been so much more interesting than the first 50%! I hope it keeps this up as I approach the end.

I’m halfway and I feel like nothing has happened. I have questions I want answered, but I’m getting really tired of the FMC only asking a million questions in her head and not outloud. Like come on. Pester some people. There was some action that just took place and she happened to ask like one thing out loud so I’m hoping we are finally on the way to moving the plot forward.

This will be a DNF unfortunately.

Crazy zinger at the end, but felt it was kinda slow until the last part finally got going.

I think I may need to DNF. It started off super interesting and I loved the little twist right off the bat. The magic seems cool too. But it’s so slow and the story feels very disjointed to the point where I felt like chapters were in the wrong spot. The FMC and MMC hardly ever interact. Most of the book is what the FMC is doing/thinking with very little dialogue overall.

I’ve heard how dense the worldbuilding is and that is true, but I am already loving this! So many details that have me trying to connect how it relates to her other series.

First time reading this and I’m so excited 😍 I put this off long enough, but I want to be caught up for January!

Not sure how I’m feeling about this book. I did look up some reviews and I’m debating putting this down for now as what some of the lower reviews said is how I’m feeling.
