When does Sam come back

I’m still stuck in the Assassin’s Blade. As a result, this one is hard to get into so far.

I wish I didn’t read Assassin’s Blade first.

Just finished the ACOTAR series. Big day for me

I really hope all the hinting that it’s the dad is just a red herring

Samantha Downing has a straightforward writing style I absolutely love. Her books are engaging and never boring. This one is no exception so far!

Zooming through this one, depending on the ending it could be a 4 or even 5 star because I’m really enjoying it so far!

Took me 2.5 months to finish my latest read now that I’m a mom. Reading with a newbon is no joke 😮‍💨

Pros: I love the characters in this series and I love how the fast pace is helping me catch up on my yearly reading goal
Cons: sometimes the plot is not going how I want it to like it did in the first book, and it’s frustrating me lol!

This book is so fun to read, Avery is such a likable main character
