Really enjoying this one so far. The beginning was a bit intimidating with this being 700 pages and the 6+ pages of pre info, but I’m telling you it all is super easy and digestible.

Okay okay okay I know I’ve been slacking on my reading this month. But hear me out, I just started playing this video game ‘Lies of P’ (A dark Pinocchio retelling) and I swear my book girlies need to start gaming, because it’s like taking your favorite fantasy books and then getting to play their characters. I’ve been OBSESSSED. If there was an ACOTAR fantasy game I would PERISHHHH.

I gave the first two book in this series 5 stars. It’s been a while since I finished the last book so I have very high hopes I’m praying get fulfilled with this 3rd book!

Need a palette cleanser.

Ok I am immediately annoyed. This is a book about football, if you did even an iota of research - you would know that the clock in a game counts UP!!! To have it highlighted that it’s counting down is the worst form of laziness, and I am thoroughly aggravated by it.

After a pretty good YA trilogy, I’m back to wheel to pick my next read. I haven’t read an Ana Huang book since the Sins latest book and was disappointed - so hopefully this one is a better outcome.

In a total switch up to my last read, this is a Dystopian YA trilogy. I have read 10 pages so far, and I’m already invested.

The wheel did me dirty last spin, so I am hoping this book is redemption!

Welp my next wheel spin took me from Brandon Sanderson to a RH dark romance lol. Honestly not mad about it!

I am LOVINGGGG this! IMO you definitely can pick this up as your first book of the Brandon Sanderson Cosmere. It’s so delightfully refreshing.

The wheel has not failed me yet. The only other Brandon Sanderson I’ve read is Mistborn, so I’m looking forward to this one

Ok so I had to re-spin the wheel AGAIN because the last book (The Aspect of Essence) I thought was a finished series… actually wasn’t! Soooo it’s disqualified (my wheel, my rules)though I am kind of bummed because it looked really good. anyways, I have re-spun and now have this lovely duet ready to start!

So spin the wheel #4 actually landed on Iron Gold by Pierce Brown but I’m waiting on hold for it from Libby, so I did another spin in the meantime and landed on this! Another more obscure trilogy that’s been on my TBR for quite a while so we shall see!

THIS BOOK MAKES NO SENSE!! Ok he’s obsessed with her does everything he can to ‘win her back’ after literally duping her, has sex with her but then after. says ‘oh no I only can do casual’?!?? Only to one date later MEET YOUR FAMILY?! On top of being your boss and being a shitty one at that…. If this isn’t the WORST BOOK BOYFRIEND I’VE EVER READ, I don’t know who could top this.

So do we all agree that so far Rowan is not charming or mysterious, he is, in fact, just a lying manipulative asshole? Zahra should run for the hills from this man.
