update: the past week I've had no time to read - or is the middle dragging? the Good Stab chapters are long but so vivid and dense, I can never stop in the middle of one! At 50% though, there's only 2 Good Stab chapters left, I'm curious what else there is to pad the back half of this novel.

from 20% in: finally acclimatized to the narrative structure and Good Stab's prose and am 10000% locked in. slow to read only as a means of properly chewing on the dense prose and basking in this incredibly woven story.
