There is something so magical about beginning a book and knowing that I'm going to love it. I can sink right into the story - can see it in my mind's eye with those marvelous descriptions of hers - and relish every second because I trust Tana French explicitly. She has never let me down.

So far I’m intrigued by the concept but a little bored by the execution, though I will chalk that up to necessary world building and character development. I’ve heard the next books are much better/faster paced

Bought this at a market stall at Portobello Market and tucked into it was an airline ticket from maybe 100 years ago & it’s now my bookmark
