Interesting adaptation so far, not sure how I feel yet. I do like that the audiobook has different narrators for each of the sisters

I haven’t been able to stop listening all day and consequently I have been crying all day. Idk maybe it’s because im about to start my period or maybe it’s how beautifully and openly green writes about his depression making you feel hopeful without hitting you over the head with toxic optimism. Maybe it’s both. Can’t wait to finish it.

Listening to the audiobook at work, I really like this so far. I love John greens nonfiction writing. I feel like I resonate a lot with his voice and how he speaks about his OCD, esp the chapter at the beginning when he talks about the end of the world and the sun exploding and engulfing us, when I heard that in the 1st grade is when I first began having panic attacks and thus ensued my obsessive fear of space.
