i'm broken.

i don't want to finish it but i can't put it down

.......

Every few years I get this considerable urge to become a nomad, just wandering from place to place. The last time was when I first heard Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan. This is my mid-20s version of what that album did to me. That's the highest praise I can give to this book... easy 5 stars incoming and I don't want it to end

soooo good

i don't think i can pick up another book until i finish this man's whole bibliography

"Together with all forms, modes, shows of grief,
That can denote me truly; these indeed seem,
For they are actions that a man might play:
But I have that within which passeth show;
These but the trappings and the suits of woe." (I.II.82-86)

"Let me not think on't: Frailty, thy name is woman!" (I.II.146)

incoming 5 star methinks

such a unique book, everything is somehow off but coherent and comprehensive nonetheless

Excerpt from Discourse on the Origin of Inequality: "The first man who, after fencing off a piece of land, took it upon himself to say 'This belongs to me' and found people simple-minded enough to believe him, was the true founder of civil society."

this is gonna be a trip

gotta grind the rest out tonight and then sit in silence for a week
