I’m on page 1 proper. Having only read the two prefaces and the foreword, I am very excited to get into this book.

It’s been slow on my end, but I finished part 1!

I just have the Seder scene left. I will be finishing this tonight. I am really liking this so far.

Bran: hey! We finally meet the Three-Eyed Crow! And he sounds so awesome-looking! That’s really all that happens. Oh and the children of the forest are real

Reek: I think this chapter would have been cooler had I not known who Reek was in the show. Regardless, love seeing Theon again after almost two entire books. All things considered, this chapter ends on a really strong note. We should definitely be scared of Ramsay.

Really liking how this is progressing so far

Daenerys: some good existential stuff RE: her dragons, but once again nothing too new. Love seeing Quaithe pop up.

Jon: one of the most interesting characters is now gone. Nothing else new. Jon broods. Yippee.
