This book is everything I remembered. Soft LOTR vibes and the perfect “classic” fantasy read.

I had the biggest crush on John in the earlier books but I’m finding both he and Rosa absolutely insufferable. Where is my nerdy Orc lad that I have dreamt of all my life? Instead we get arrogant, angry dude that doesn’t even seem to like Rosa…

And Rosa, babe, pls get your priorities sorted. I beg of you.

I swear to god I’m going to start taking shots every time Ella hooks up Nat and then is like “nooooo I’m a lady! I shouldn’t! It’s wroooong.”


Stop whining Ella. Some of us have to pay taxes and work for a living and you’re out here living my dream life. Grow up.
