Picked this up at the library purely because hello: chicken Cinderella. Also, the aptly-named fairy godchicken Silkie totally looks like one of our silkie hens.

Classic Victorian horror.. less suspenseful than say, Dracula, but just as full with adjectives and emotion. I hope a Mummy comes to life soon or someone gets possessed.. I fear I grow weary now, my mind heavy with such speculation.
