Fairly easy to read, and just got to the slightly more spooky bits… eeek!

Ok I’m so hooked on this! Everyone has secrets but omg what are they?!?!

Onto part 2/chapter 14! Enjoying it very much so far, the action is nicely plotted out and paced, and I really like the main character.

Really enjoying the book so far!

A few chapters in. I’m intrigued. It’s a decently-written YA novel, now to see how the plot thickens!

Getting interesting now… but tbf it took a while to get into the background of the story.

Enjoying it so far with just 2 chapters read. Grey London - is that our London perhaps? In the early 19th century? I love the concept.

One key quote that’s already popped out for me:

“In Red London, taste turned as often as seasons, and with them, buildings went up and came down and went up again in different forms. Magic made things simple. Sometimes, thought Kell, it made things too simple.”

Different than expected a little bit, but overall the reading is fairly enjoyable… let’s see where this goes!

Reading for our September Bookclub. Have read a few chapters and am intrigued! Let’s see how this goes…

Intrigued on the concept… not sure about all the characters yet as some of them feel a bit forced and standard fantasy characters, but I quite like Isla.

So the first book was amazing and I am sooooo glad the second is just as good!!!
