I have tried this book before in paperback sometime ago but lost interest. This time I am giving it a go in audio and I love Marguerite Gavin's voice.

The portrayal of re-imagining in America which still has slaves is disturbing and interesting I think the details are simply amazing!

I always like the crazy Ian character, so shameless. Vlad seems a lot of control and I like him when he is more ruthless. Hopefully he will get it together.

So a drunk woman with a lot of issues..... I hope this gets better

Strange musing about metaphysical activites during the Victorian period. I am sure the romance will come but I find myself drawn to these practioners.

This book is so well done these stories are incredibly heartbreaking for both the owners and renter.

ALEJANDRO'S SORCERESS ...New series for me. Alejandro just finished his training with the FBI. Rose is a powerful garden witch. This story is silly and fun. I hope there is more of them in other books. It feels like they are just finding their powers.

BODYGUARD...Ronan and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is running from her past one night someone comes to rob Elizabeths store and Ronan saves her unfortunately he is a shifter so Ronan is not seen as a hero. Meanwhile the guy who wanted to shoot Elizabeth is a thug who has a reputation to protect. In all of this chaos Ronan and Elizabeth need to figure out how they can save each other. Very cute story I totally adored it.

This version of my book has a bonus story called The Mating Heat Prequel the short story actually starts on chapter 12.
Go figure!

The first half is awesome now Victoria is acting much more like a modern woman as opposed to a gently bred woman in 1815 or so. Annoying!

Love the interaction between James and Phoebe. Hard to believe this is this sister from books long ago. It was interesting that the Ghost did not save the day.

On chapter 15 and I know I will finish the book but it is not super interesting...not sure how much I care

Really annoyed at the alleged rape ploy starting to really wonder why women can only victimize another woman sexually? If you are supposed to be a powerful woman can we victimize her with a gold old fashioned punch?
