I've reached a major milestone in "The Cycle" (my post-Riyria Revelations series. I now have more than 70,000 words written in book #3 which means I'm past the halfway mark of the entire series. While no where near set in stone, the hope is that book #1 will come out in April of 2028.

The Beta for Out of the Ashes is humming right along. We have had 500 chapters reviewed and 4 people have completed the book. Our thanks to all the beta volunteers!

The beta read for Out of the Ashes has begun! It's 27 chapters long and one who is the furthest into the book is at chapter 19. All told we have feedback from 166 distinct chapters. Average: 4.57 - so looking good so far!

The Riyria Chroncile Hardcovers are finally done printing and on their way to the ship. They'll set sail on July 6 and arrive in the US on August 14th. After years of only paperbacks for the first two, I'm thrilled to have hardcovers in my hands soon!

My next novel - Out of the Ashes: Book 1 of the After the Fall series is done! This is a work that I've been doing in collaboration with debut novelist Lorian Ellis.
