I honestly don't know what to think. I mean, she has to be dead, right? Why do I have this thought in the back of my mind that she's just going to show up out of the blue and it was all going to be some elaborate plan to escape her life, her labyrinth. The investigation seems slow and arduous, and something has to be overlooked.

One of my favorite Goosebumps books. It's nice to revisit it!

Finally, past the point. I am officially the farthest I've been in the book. It seems to be the calm before the storm....

I do appreciate how the author can almost perfectly encapsulate the emotions and feelings we have at a young age experiencing sexual tension for the first time. Miles experiences exactly what we all go through, heart pounding, and you can feel even the slightest movement or change in temperature.

This is my second time reading these chapters. I had originally got, I think, 80% of the way through it, then put it down for a year and a half. So u decided to re-read it. Well, so far, the book is good. I like the character developments and the counting down of the days. It really drives me as a reader forward with curiosity.

A typical American boys experience in a small private school. More to come....
