I also don’t like that Ethan knows this “can’t be more than an off season fling” but then is treating Jacob like they’re actually dating. Like dancing in the rain knowing this is only a fling is such a dick move in my opinion. Ethan is 1000% leading Jacob on knowing it “can’t” be more than a fling. Like Ethan is shit and Jacob deserves better. Why are you holding onto hate from an ex a DECADE ago.

I’m not having a good time. I’m not understanding WHY Ethan can’t like Jacob? He says this that and the other thing but it’s just him holding onto what happened to him a fucking decade ago. And Ethan is self aware of this. “Oh Jacob would never do that, Jacob sees me for the real me” but then still says they can’t be together? Why? Jacob seems like a different person in this book from the last one.

We skipped 14 months just so they could make up after a two minute conversation? Like Logan seriously couldn’t have messaged Oakley to get to cam? Or any of his other friends? Stupid

The scene between Logan and Oakley I think is supposed to come off as this sweet brotherly moment but it feels cheap and not genuine. Like Logan says “this is how I feel” and Oakley just goes “but have you ever thought about how I feel” like very much makes it about him and invalidates Logan’s feelings. Also, their dad is an ass. Who’s skips their kids graduation for a hockey game?

I hate the dyslexic trope. You’re a grown ass man, learn to ask for help. He literally cheated his entire way through college and almost got booted from the NHL bc he couldn’t tell anyone he was dyslexic and get help? They literally have ways to help with dyslexia and he’d rather literally CHEAT his entire way through college to the NHL and I’m supposed to feel bad for him? I don’t.

Oliver does the same bad thing again and all Tina has to say is “you’ve been pining over him for a year” when was she pining?! It’s seemed to me she was pissed at him rightfully so. Tina is a bad friend once again.

“Bc I know you” well I wish we could’ve seen them getting to know each other bc it certainly didn’t happen on page.

Tina “you can tell me if you like him” NO SHE LITERALLY CANT you’ll tell Ryan and then Ryan will tell Oliver and he’ll USE IT AGAINST HER. Tina is a bad friend.

If Oliver “smirks” one more fucking time I’m deadass going to dnf this book. He’s so condescending I hate him. Like his personality better flip 180 for me not to hate him.

I hate how egotistical Oliver is and why does her supposed best friend not listen to her about anything? Like what Oliver did was shit so why is Tina acting like it wasn’t a big deal and basically saying Pricilla likes Oliver still? Like oh you like him? He stayed the night? Like girl no Oliver sucks? And you suck as a friend pushing him onto her knowing what he did.

So she’s still dating Mike and it’s been like 6+ months and she said she loves him? Girl cmon.

Idk why she’s still with Mike. Like this Mike plot line is going on too far I think.

I’m 121 pages into this book where Isaiah couldn’t possibly be more down bad and she’s still saying “he’s didn’t really like me, it’s just bc I’m the only female staff” asking him to help her get ready to date OTHER people. Fuck her right the fuck off. She doesn’t deserve him. And blaming him for the marriage?! She better apologize and grovel for him. wtf.
