I had to make a tiny comment half way through this. Beautiful story, I love it. However, the last line of this page;

“I didn’t lock my bedroom door that night”,

gives me - I shaved my whole body at 14 for harry styles to notice me in the crowd during a one direction concert -vibes that is all lol

So far so good! Reading this for my bookclub and am genuinely interested in the plot. I’ve been keeping notes on my predictions up to date but with that being said I like that the murder is not immediate. Instead we are getting into the histories of the characters and every so often are hinted that something had happened but what? Big like.

I love that it’s not your typical self-help book. Straight to the point and the anecdotes are refreshing which is nice.

(Chapter 4)
A very slow start. You learn about the main characters as well as the main issue to the novel. The dialogue that Fleetwood has with herself is interesting and shows the character has depth which I appreciate. Richard seems vain and I feel as if this will become a problem in the future for him.
