This book has gotten annoying but I’m almost done

Half way done and I’m not really impressed. Not sure if it’s the narrator’s/character’s or the fact I️ can’t get lost in the book because it’s not all that original. And I️ know it’s fantasy but pointing out the MFC has never seen an ocean, never been swimming but then to have her out maneuver some mer-fae. 🤨
