BLITZZZ!! i missed them so much oh my god. i actually didn’t realize how long it’s been since i’ve read anything about them.

also. THE NEW RECORD DEAAAAL MY GOD. finally. they deserve this. they’re gonna rock that shit.

they are the biggest band ever. i wish they were real holy shit. these songs make me want to grow my hair out and head bang fuuuuck. sirius and remus try not to be horny challenge level impossible goddamn. but truly, the star of this chapter was regulus kissing james full on the mouth. holy motherfucking shit. remus is a fucking idiot for thinking reg liked lily 😭

REGULUS BLACK PLAYING BLACK SABBATH ON STAGE IN AT A DAMNED CONCERT LIFE IS SOOOOO GOOD. sirius was so fucking proud. trish, barty and regulus are such a good group i would have never expected it. they love her so much and it’s so evident. also remus vs lee pt. 2.. pobrecito nmms… ya déjenlo. ALSO REMUS. YOURE STUPID AS FUUUUUCK. REGULUS WANTS JAMES U IDIOT.

it has a few good tips, i do think it takes itself a little too seriously though.

i’m almost done. it’s sweet, definitely random and silly at times but i’m guessing that’s the point. the characters really come together as friends and it’s nice to see them grow into more secure versions of themselves. i am curious to know what’s up with olive’s mom tho, like why did she just dump her child at this school and switch their luggage?

…the ending caught me off guard for sure. i was so confused on why trish turned up and then barty behind her was a jump scare lol. and then it kinda clicked cause, if he left school for the funeral, that means he just completely ditched school to go live with his brother and he fully knew that, the only problem was that he did not let his friends know, which, like, valid anger tbh. and then the cherry on top being-

-even if he doesn’t admit it verbally. i also think remus being an airhead and not realizing regulus likes james, not lily is funny considering the circumstances lol. lottie’s wedding was beautiful, peter’s speech was so honest and emotional, it was nice to see a pettigrew twins win. sirius and remus’ conversation about hypothetically getting married was so heartbreakingly sweet + the slow dance🥹

this chapter was a doozy. holy shit. so much happened in so little time. first of all, regulus living with them for the time being is a huge step to healing the black brothers’ relationship and the fact that regulus was willing to make the first move is extremely telling. i was so surprised he accepted lottie’s invitation to the wedding as well, it’s so sweet that he actually likes sirius’s friends-

okay WOW. that really took me by surprise. the ending was a complete shock and the b plot romance between christine and skogstad was a twist. i’m pleasantly surprised for sure.

i still can’t get over the fact that the main item they’re looking for is called the “Royal Rumpus” like it’s a booty cheek necklace 😭😭

oh MAN. i’ve had a crazy 2 months of school reading and have completely abandoned this book. i will say, it’s a really good palette cleanser. i really needed a page turner, something easy to read and this definitely provides. i recognize im not the target audience so my opinion is a little nuanced but it’s something i would have been obsessed with as a kid.

it’s coming along. i feel like maybe some parts of this are outdated? but i like some of the advice on character development and world building so ill take what i can get.

why is everyone always so insufferable in these plays holy shit. i can’t stand any of them. nora is so money hungry, torvald’s a pussy and a misogynist, rank’s an annoying guy with a stick up his ass, christine’s mostly alright but she also asks nora for a favor and then belittles her, kinda douchey and then ofc loanshark krogstad, the idiot, fucking fearmongerer 3000. unbelievable.

REGULUUUUUUS WELCOME HOME MAN. aw this chapter was so black brother focused i’m so glad they’ve adopted him. maybe this is the life where they get to be together. also the bridge bit? mental. sirius playing beethoven’s symphony no. 5? mentaaaaaal. what a surprise peter got at the end of the chapter jajajaj

shakespeare is not my favorite but it was alright. i appreciated the translation. i did however, detest everyone in this play.
