I read a review prior to reading this series, the person blabbed on about the decisions the MC made and how awful they were. I must disagree because this is one of if not the most logical and practical main character I’ve ever read! That reviewer must not employ logic or practicality in their decision making.

Reminds me of manga and manwha I’ve read but all in one place and a present author.

Loving the descriptions of battle and class breakdowns! These battle scenes are like watching live depictions!

It took them 204 pages to have sex. Well over half the book

This book has me sniffling with burgeoning tears. It ripped my heart out then mended the wound succinctly.

Great diction and verbiage. But the book it’s bet reprieve in the sense that it re-writes love over and over. It’s akin to a conclusion paragraph in an essay where you’re restating the thesis as well in the body paragraphs.

The chapters are all over the place though. There’s no seamless flow to the chapter it seems like individual ideas rather than a story/book.

The MC Reinhardt knows humility and tries his best for the Duke with is incredibly commendable. I like him so far!

This book was the definition of a slow burn. The couple didn’t confess until the last 50 pages of the book as well as the secret of her parents!
