Upon nth reread I still enjoy these books, and enjoy the incredibly humane portrayals of the minor characters even more. Davey stood out especially this time.

....yeah. I wasn't really supposed to reread this one quite yet, but I picked it up on the way to putting it away and suddenly it was open and in my hands and I was done with half. Yeah.

Okay, this book is growing back on me again. It's very laudatory, but somehow still fascinating. I have a feeling I need to treat myself to a more grown-up biography of MC ASAP.
