Im having a great time, im glad I didn't listen to the low rating for this book

Thought I was tired and slow but this volume is jumping timelines like crazy

I developed an obsession with another series while reading this and forgot about it for a bit

I just realized all of this has happened over the course of like 3-4 days. For once, it isn't too bad, though, because it doesn't feel rushed or unbelievable.

"Mortal lives are short," Marissya had reminded him earlier. "The ones who remember as we do are dead and gone centuries ago.”

"And these newer generations cannot read?" he'd countered bitterly.

Rain now has a personality so that's a plus

The one thing that takes me out of this book is that Judah's chapters read like a woman writing from a man's perspective.

I still like it despite the millennial dialogue
