I love the humour in this book.

I am enjoying this book. You really do have to wonder why Bear’s dad didn’t become part of the greater search. Like that’s for the help to do?
Also what’s the deal with the Van Laar grandfather. A four year old doesn’t like him?

I’m liking it so far. The characters development is good but not too slow. So we know that Barbara was leaving her bunkhouse every night. Slotted in is Jacob Sluiter who has escaped from prison. Also Barbara’s brother died or went missing years prior. We don’t know what happened to him as of yet. It feels right now that Barbara actually convinced her mom to send her to camp so she could escape her life.

It’s quite a suspenseful book with many twists. I don’t like the threats on the baby. Also most characters are not likeable. I guess we are to be invested in Susan, sisters and family but I can’t say I’m all in there.

Driving me crazy. Plus Jon did have an affair 😡Is it with her sister? Still no idea why she would kill her sister with her sister’s permission in the end. Also so many coincidences and people who are connected. Worse than SJ. Everyone knows everyone and are related or connected 😝

I’m scared finish it as I know something awful happens

Loving it so far. The two main characters are very likeable while still a bit complex. I’m rooting for them!

This is not a fast paced riveting read.
I think it’s an important read.
It’s a testament to how a life can be changed by inclusion.
What inclusion and acceptance can mean for a person.
How can you be someone’s safe harbour? We can all be that for someone at some point in our lives.

Not my usual choice in a book but I’m enjoying it. It’s an interesting story. Mystery, murder and humour.

I could read a book with just Tairn in it and love it.
“To which I will remind you not a single dragon chose her. You were selected by two. Pull yourself together”.
Love him!
