lestat begging to make love with david really got me ugh i love them so. also i feel like this book makes lestat see himself, and the morality between him and others, human and vampire, how we as readers have been made to believe vampires have more flexibility in their morals when it’s really no different. lestat sees someone else in his body, doing the things he’s always done, and is at a discomfort

a lot of people give up on the series by this book but i’ve really enjoyed it so far. i love seeing lestat be comforted and healed and so human

so far i like this much better than junky and you can see how much his writing has developed
