listening to the audiobook so i’m not sure what page i’m on. i just finished fire walk with me and felt so connected to and seen by laura. it’s an emotional and difficult read so far but i’m so happy to finally understand laura’s story more, and even make sense of my own

god let me have a profound rebirthing of my soul just like lestat

OHHHHHH SHIIIIT

lestat begging to make love with david really got me ugh i love them so. also i feel like this book makes lestat see himself, and the morality between him and others, human and vampire, how we as readers have been made to believe vampires have more flexibility in their morals when it’s really no different. lestat sees someone else in his body, doing the things he’s always done, and is at a discomfort

a lot of people give up on the series by this book but i’ve really enjoyed it so far. i love seeing lestat be comforted and healed and so human

so far i like this much better than junky and you can see how much his writing has developed
