the way she affirms her own trauma and isn’t fully aware of how bad everything is OH MY GOD i didn’t expect this book to make me so sad

Bill’s story made me cry and I’m going to hug my pet right now for a very long time

only first story in and i feel changed. i love stories comparing man to animal, finding that we are not much different

still funny how this series was introduced to me in middle school. each book gets darker with more gore and adult topics. this one takes the cake by far. there’s so much slaughter and blood and even some light sexual themes. i do love what tom says about religion and how there is no right way to reach the light. this series has good lessons on choosing your own path for your beliefs
