this is so beautiful. i feel a story weaved through this. i love some of the repeating symbols (the ball gowns, sails, how eyes relate to skies). gahhh there’s too much to recount so far that i love!!!!

i have enjoyed every minute of this book. i’m slow to read it because i want to take it in, and i put it down so often because it inspires my own writing. i feel rejuvenated as i read and write. it’s becoming my bible

she’s already one of my favorite writers from reading her erotica but she absolutely excels in her journals. it feels so natural and sensual
