okay had to pause to say i don’t love the way Cross is painting methadone. it is not nearly the same as heroin let alone any other opioid. if properly prescribed & explained it’s extremely beneficial! a lot of people on methadone struggle with the idea that they are just replacing one drug for another but it just manages the physical symptoms. making it easier to eventually break that psychological barrier.
