The first 4 chapters have been completed and all I want to do is read this nonstop.

Did I finally found an ARC where my obsession over the cover matches my obsession over the story?!?!

Time will most definitely tell. 🫣🫣🫣🫣.

Yeah…I honestly don’t know how to feel right now. 😬😬😬.

Idk what it is but, there is just something about books that feature another book within its pages that excites me. ☺️☺️☺️.

I loved this until I didn’t. 😬😬😬.

Taking major advantage of this two week break that I am able to have from my library books to get some ARCs in. ☺️☺️☺️.

So. Let me just make sure I understand things correctly:

Because the thing we love doing makes the boy we “love” insecure, WE ARE JUST GOING TO GIVE IT UP TO HIM HAPPY?!?!

🙄🙄🙄. Whatever.

The way General Hospital is starting to get on my nerves, I am prepared for Stevie & David to the same. 🙄🙄🙄.

Given that I have to be up really early tomorrow, I should be getting ready for bed. And yet, one look at my library account (46 books currently checked out with 5 to pick up by Saturday) and I am going to take advantage of this much needed palette cleanser. 🥰🥰🥰.

That epilogue was NOT nice. 😠😠😠. 😡😡😡.

A little sad that these illustrations aren’t in color. But, I won’t complain. THIS STORY IS SO CUTE!!! 🥰🥰🥰!!!

Hawthorne has wore me THE HECK out!!! 😒😒😒!!!

I really need to stop accepting all my Libby holds at once and then purposefully procrastinating for a week. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

Okay Jeneva Rose. I see you. 😏😏😏.

Sssooo. I’ve read the synopsis for all 3 stories. Seen the front and back covers with its creepy pictures and weird sayings. And the sprayed edges don’t look strange at all…

Nope!!! I am not scared to read this one bit (with the scaredy cat inside of me opening the blinds to let the sun shine through the windows). 🫣🫣🫣. 😬😬😬.

Ooops. I finished this 4 hours ago and forgot to update. 🫣🫣🫣.

Obsessed with this book cover. 🤭🤭🤭.

Meh. 😑😑😑.

And here I thought I was going to be reading a “possibly” delicious locked-room mystery. Instead, we have a list of content warnings and suggestions about abuse. 😫😫😫.

Part 3: Chapters 32-49. 🤯🤯🤯.

Given what this story is supposed to be about, these chapters have NO BUSINESS being 5-11 pages long. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

Ever since I DNF’d The Knave and the Moon, I feel like the books Gods are mad me and want me to suffer. This reading slump isn’t just hitting my mood. It’s messing with my patience. 😑😑😑.

It’s been awhile since the weather has matched my book. 🤭🤭🤭.

I might need a hug after this. Losing the family member that you’re closest to is never easy. 😔😔😔.

Sssooo… I might’ve told myself “just one more chapter” after every chapter that I read only to finish it around midnight. 😬😬😬. 🤭🤭🤭.

The fact that I’ve read 51% of this in one sitting and just now remembering to provide any sort of update seems kind of pointless. 🤭🤭🤭.
