this book is so long but i am intrigued

jesus this book is long. and i have so many books i need to read.

love it, just got a little excited by reading the description of the poppy war that i had to pick it up

very interesting so far. babel i think will be my white whale for the year.

“He greatly enjoyed Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’, though he could not say the same of the poems by her less talented husband, whom he found overly dramatic.”

restarting bc i have a print copy now :3

there’s a love triangle, but the triangle is just the three boys that are in love with mare

i am not happy with the direction of the story which is why it’s taken me so long to finish this book. maybe i’ll finish it today? who knows!
