I found what I was looking for. Gina’s thoughts, feelings & experiences are relatable to me. I was looking for fiction books featuring characters with selective mutism/elective mutism. This is the first time it’s been represented correctly. Her dad believes she’s refusing to talk, but she is really just highly anxious. He thinks she needs to be forced to talk & other kids think she is stupid. It was the same for me.

I’m just making a quick update to let everyone know that I scheduled a giveaway for Mortal Realm Witch: Learning About Magic that will take place from May 1st - May 29th. I’m going to be giving away 100 Kindle eBook copies as part of a celebration. I’ve become a much better writer thanks to everything I’ve learned since it’s release. The Kindle version will have been published for 5 years in May.
