picked this book up in the midst of a classical music induced literary frenzy and could not be more glad i did! this is a read that i could’ve done in high school but i didn’t care much about reading for class back then. but based on the hype i knew i’d have to read it eventually. And boy am i upset that i waited this long! it’s beautiful so far. Read 73 pages in 2.5 hrs. Can’t wait to finish it tomorrow!

jake finally clocked in. im reading about work on my day off and it’s triggering me

craziest roast battle in these 10 pages, all from a game of bridge and a light green shirt with white pencil stripes (the 1930s equivalent of a yo mama showdown)

need to read up on how to play bridge before getting back into this gameplay narrative. only about 30 pages until part II. will try and get there tomorrow! jake jackson’s day goes on, but mine ends here. GOODNIGHT!

started this one in january but as soon as the semester started i had to put it right down. Going to try and start where i left off but may have to read from the beginning again because of the nature of this book. a conclusive look into one exact day of jake jackson’s day! usually by afternoon, memory of morning comes and goes. but since i’m stepping into jake’s shoes i should witness it from start to finish!
