I think this is a great read for kids who struggle with finding courage especially when life changing events occur. I also liked how it teaches the encouragement of respecting differences. I do think some of the words are tricky and could use better context clues if your student doesn’t have an extensive vocabulary quite yet.

DNF. Since it was a gift, I’ll try again at some point, as I would love to learn about the great women discussed in the book, but this author just really runs her mouth a bit too much and doesn’t get to the point. It was all over the place and felt like an unorganized podcast and I really wasn’t feeling it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book has been helpful with maintaining positivity in my life each day. I enjoy sharing some of the messages with my family and friends too. :)

My husband and I are really enjoying this daily devotional. It’s helped us have more meaningful conversations. Praying together has made us feel more connected to each other and more importantly improved keeping God at the center of our marriage. This book could be used every year; it has such interesting topics, we could repeat using it and it would still be just as helpful and life continues to go on. :)

This isn’t usually a genre I would read, but it was a gift, so I’m giving it a shot :)
