I like this book but I also have theories and if they are right then I cannot in good conscience give this 5 stars due to lack of mystery.

Theories:
-raeve is elliun (obvious)
- the other is her moonplume slatra trapped in her body
- kaan is collecting the shards in order to regain the physical body of slatra

This is genuinely the most beautiful prologue I have ever read. Its making me feel like a child reading D’aulaires Book of Greek Myths and I am so happy!
