Almost done with the book, lowkey dragging a bit the author repeats certain things a lot def didn’t need to be over 400 pages could’ve stopped at 350-380, but I’m not complaining, the plot wasn’t as centered as I wanted it to be(like there’s a PLOT but it’s kinda a snoozefest plot..) but let’s see how it ends

IM IN LUVVVVV! Ughhhh I love Mateo’s Alpha sm, at first I thought it would be annoying to add an “alpha’s” thoughts/mind but it actually works and makes sense for the story. He’s funny and snarky, and complete opposite of sweet Mateo. I love Evie sm, she’s so light and girl lala. At the half way point and I DONT! Wanna put this book down and we didn’t even get to the best parts yet 😏

Super cute so far,, it does read like charmed meets supernatural. I like evie and Mateo!! And ofc Alpha he’s funny

JUNE NEEDS TO DIEEEEEEE I feel like im just hate reading this book now, almost at the end of it and I just can’t put it down, every other page makes me cringe, laugh, “girl what?” And wonder who’s the real villain in all of this? I question how true can I believe Junes words, even after what she said about Athena stealing her story.. bc girl an eye for an eye but at what cost? Luvvvvv the prose

JUNE CAN DIEEEEEEEEEE-ARGH! She’s so evil, n her “moral compass” is in HELL, I can’t wait for her to get caught and canceled like WOW! This is making me think how many “June Haywards” are there? 🤔. Overall 10/10 book, RF Kuang really gets into the characters voices, the prose is easy and funny to follow along with, I like that Athena haunts every page.. literally?

It’s NOT a bad book chat,, I’m abt 62% done with the book on the last leg rn. This isn’t even “good vs evil” it’s “evil vs evilier” and LOWKEY Santa is winning for me! Krampus is just hating because Santa aka Baldr got away with wanting shit to be abt him and rebirth into Santa and everyone loves Santa! Last part of the book I think: Santa comes back , him and Kramp fight and Kramp and Santa both die

I’m liking it so far, it’s far more funny than I thought it would be? 100% not a terrifying horror book, if anything Jesse’s everyday life is more horror than the actual horror. I need him to get a backbone and leave Linda and Dillard behind. I kinda LIKE krampus, he isn’t good, but he hasn’t done much to make me pissed off at him! I like the “help”. Overall I’m enjoying this!! Taking a break rn

LUVVVVVVVVVVV IT BEST READ THIS YEAR

On ch12, and this book is just liquid gold. As it progresses the more intertwined all of the characters become, and even if they don’t have a major role Cosby still gives them a story and makes them feel more than a background character. Everyone in the town has their own story and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in the end.

Ummm where has this book been all my life? A 100% quick read but I’ve been slowly going through it because I want to soak up every word and sentence of Baldwin’s prose. I find this book to read like a conversation, now with so many years removed from when the book takes place, I read it as a reminiscing of the past speaking to things that still affect us today. I love Tish’s narration and I feel Fonny and her love.

This book is AMAZING! I am in love with Titus, he’s like the ultimate cool protagonist I’ve read so far this year. I mean, what he says and how S.A Cosby has he assert certain situations. There is straight up GOLD in this book and I can’t put it down I’m sad I’m almost done with it already. S.A Cosby has a fan out of me! And I luvvvv Titus and Delanee what can I say? A girl loves mature love 🌝
